The Warsaw Philharmonic, with Maestro Antoni Wit, will be joined by 25-year-old Yulianna Avdeeva, the 2010 First Prize Winner of the 16th International Chopin Competition in Warsaw and the first woman to win this competition in 45 years. Ms. Avdeeva will perform Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 op. 21. in F-minor. With a 100-year history, this 110 piece ensemble is considered one of Europe’s greatest orchestras.

Concerts begin at 7:00 PM.

Second Annual Dinner Dance – November 11, 2012

Mark your calendars now for a fun evening with your Polish American club friends at the potluck dinner/dance from 6:00 to 11:00 pm on Sunday, November 11, 2012.  Last year, 100 people enjoyed the party, and we expect even more this year.

The location is Gage Hall at 4 Archdale St.  Charleston. Bring your favorite dish whether it is a dessert or entrée.  Help us match last year’s stunning array of dishes.

 We will provide soft drinks, plates, cups and utensils. Music will be offered by disk jockey Stan Trojanowski.
